I am in Love...

I am totally in love with Jim Craig. Yes, I know he is a fictional character but I can't help it. He is amazing! If you don't know who this man is then I'm really sorry because you should! He is the main character from the movies The Man from Snowy River and Return to Snow River. And I've decided he's the perfect man. I mean come on! What else could a girl ask for? He's beautiful, smart, independent, hard working, resepctful, caring, polite, can fight when he needs to, can ride a horse with the best of them cowboys and he's just a good man. Seriously if you haven't watched the movie ya should. First off, I love horses! I have loved them all of my life. My favorite movies always have horses in them..I can't help it. And Jim Craig is just amazing with them! He can train a wild horse and a wild colt with ease. He is independent..he lives by himself up in the mountains for goodness sakes! He is an extremely hard worker and never stops. He knows the difference between right and wrong. He knows what he wants. He treats women with the upmost respect. He fights for what he believes in even when others around him don't believe in him. He can show up any other man around for miles and miles and miles. He will stand up to fathers who live in the dark ages and believe that women should be in the house in dresses looking decorative. He puts the woman in his life first and makes sure that she is taken care of. He treats her like an equal! Which is one of the most beautiful things about him. A man that treats his partner as his equal in everything that they do together gets an A+ in my book. Anything he does, she does with him. He is just amazing and if you don't see that then you are wrong. Jim Craig is beautiful! Any man that can ride a horse like he can is......AAAAHHHHHH!!! (deep sigh) I love Jim Craig. I just can't help it. :-)

Ramblings, Rants and other Meaderings

So it's November 5th, 2008. We have a new President of the United States of America. Yahoo! Is all I can say. The election/campaign is finally over!!! I am so sick of it! I love that I live in America and that we have a democratic government and the people choose who their leader is but this campaign leading up to this election has been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LONG!!! I'm just glad it's over and we can move on and see what President Obama does with the presidency. Let's hope he does something good with it. :-)
I love to read. I love to read good books. I love to read when I am in my bed all snuggled up warm with my many blankets on my bed. It is one of the best things to do any day of the year. Currently I am reading Brisnger. It is the third book in a series. So far it's a great book. I would totally recommend it.
My feet are cold. They seem to always be cold. Even when wearing socks and shoes. The problem this presents is that I love to go barefoot. I mean I love shoes. They are lots of fun, but given the choice I would go without..almost everywhere. Except that my feet get cold and I HATE having cold feet.
Christmas is coming up and I love Christmas and making gifts. Except that this year I have no idea what to make for gifts. Any ideas? I like to make my gifts because I love getting gifts that are homemade/handmade I think that they are more personal that way. Granted I won't turn down gift cards and such but I just like the homemade ones the best. This year I really wanted to do something fun. But I can't think of anything. So let me have those ideas!! Please!!
I hate dust! I don't think I have mentioned this before, but I really hate dust. It just gets to me. Now I am not the best duster in the world and if you walked into my room right now you would see dust on my book shelves but still I can't stand it! It makes me feel dirty. UG! Yesterday I dusted all of the book shelves in my family room, and all of the staircases in our house. It took a while but they look so much better now. Whenever I see dust I want to wipe if off, it's a compulsion. OCD!! I also like it when books on a bookshelf are organized. Either alphabetically or by size. I know I am crazy. I also organize my movies and music alphabetically. My brother, Nathan, laughs every time I get a new CD or movie and I have to put it in correct order. But he loves it everytime he is looking for something and it's easier to find because it's in an order!! Whatever, I just can't not put them in any other way. Yes, I know major OCD!!!
My family and I are going camping this weekend in Morro Bay. And for those of you who don't know where that is..it's on the central south coast of California. It's a beautiful place. Anyway, we are camping in tents and all I am hopeing for is that it doesn't get too cold and that it doesn't rain. It really stinks when it rains and you are camping. Everything gets wet and you are even more cold than you were before and it's just uncomfortable. I remember this one camping trip that we took with the Green's. We went over Memorial Day weekend. I believe we were up at Shaver Lake or Dinky Creek. I really don't remember which but anyway, it snowed on us. Sooooo cold. I remember having to move out of our tent and into my parents big van because it was too cold to sleep in the tent. I don't remember much else of the trip except that we had a lot of fun. Oh and that I decided that I didn't like camping in the snow. Anyway, I just hope it doesn't rain this weekend at the coast. Cross your fingers!
I love collecting quotes. From everywhere. TV, books, Church it really doesn't matter where I get them from. I have a poster in my room that I add them too. I was just thinking about it...I need some new ones to add to it. Any suggestions?
Well I better sign off, if I ever intend to get anything else done today. So until next time...

Pictures are Fun!!!

So I am not the best at updating..sorry guys...anyway, not much has been going on since the last post. I still have not found a job. My brother is still getting married (December 27th, 2008, for those who wanted to know), my sister is still having a baby and it's going to be a BOY!!! How exciting is that? I mean we are all so excited for the new little one to come in March. Anyway, I have been taking lots and lots of pictures of different things (mainly the girls) but also my parents went to the coast recently and took some great pictures. So I thought I would share them with you. Enjoy!

Cambria and Brynn were Dalmation puppies for Halloween. Don't they look oh so ADORABLE!?!?! They were the best! And if you asked them what a dog says they would say "woof, woof".
David and Becca were their "pets" like on 101 Dalmations.. and as Becca says it was so fitting. She also made the girls costumes!
This is Cambria and her friend Issac. I believe he we Peter Pan. They were so cute together. They held hands most of the night.
This is a picture my mom took on my parents trip to Morro Bay. I just thought it was a really cool picture.
This is Cambria at her birthday party on September 30th. She is now 3 years old! Time goes by so fast!
This is the Strawberry Shortcake birthday cake my sister made for Cambria's Birthday. So talented!
This is a picture I took of Brynn the other night. Isn't she just so beautiful? Her big blue eyes are so amazing! Her and Cambria have the most beautiful eyes!!!

And for those of you who haven't met Sarah. Here she is with Jonathan. Don't they make a cute couple?

So there are pictures of the last little while. Sorry I'm not so good at this blogging thing. Enjoy the pictures!
